OK last update for the thread...
I got 2 baby Phals from the method...but I couldnt get them past one root and one leaf...unfortunately they didnt survive.....
I dont know if I did something wrong in the potting, or watering, or if tthem being babies in the Yukon when it was -40 outside was the issue....
But at least I know that it works and there are plenty of spent flower stems happening around the house to try again...
