I'm so excited! Went to the greenhouse this am and the seed pod had started to split open.

I very carefully put it in a paper towel and in a baggie and put it in the fridge.

Now I have to get it to Troys.

Woo hoo...doing a fertility dance.

Take it out of the fridge and put it in a cofee filter. Follow the instructions on Troy's site. If it's not dry it will mold.

The pod had already started to split and the seed is mostly out in a paper towel. Sitting in an open top jar drying.

Place seeds in coffee filter, then place in regular envelope, mail immediately.

Well I got the assay back from Troys. 52% fertile.

Yay! Not too bad for my first try.

Crossing my fingers that we can get some flasks.
