No, it is a growth that came off the pseudobulb. It infected twice and I had to peel off the outer layers and reflask them. However, they worked in the end. I will post some new pics later tonight

Great job, Brett. A picture is worth a thousand words. None of my stem props are that far along. This is good inspiration.

Hi Royal

You just reminded me I need to take new photos to post.

The stems are ready for replating now. I hope I can do it without infections. I have been trying to find out what has been wrong with my flasking protocols. I think it has been not heating the agar to a high enough temperature. I am about to sow some seed again, so I will soon see.

I am kind of worried reflasking them as it has taken so long to get them to this. They seem happy in the stem media though and growing. There are no more shoots starting. Maybe I can just leave them in it?

I finally took more photos. The plants are in meristem media still. I hope they will put out more shoots. So far, each one has a new growth coming. I am not going to move them to normal media as long as they seem happy. They have stopped having issues with the blackening of the agar too.

Brett
