OK, so I followed the advice and wrapped the pods with a coffee filter and it worked great. I emailed Troy at troymeyers.com and told him what I had. He was courteous but I think I made a big mistake, I put all 4 pods in one filter.

Anyhoos, I'll be sending them to him, if he will except them. After shaking the pods loose, I saw seeds still in there and decided to try and see if they will take in the wild. Here's what I have and what I did..

I have a 2' long piece of oak with bark, lichen, and resurrection fern growing on it. It also has two Enc Tampensis plants growing on each end. The plant is hanging in my bamboo pergola horizontally. I took the pods that still had seeds in them and again shook them on top of the log. I then cracked open the pods and put them on top as well.

So now what? Do I water them in? Do I add KLN or superthrive? Will they take?

I don't see anything wrong with putting all four pods together, especially if they were from the same exact plant.

You may see some germination, maybe even a lot. The tricky part is making them survive long-term. With your natural climate and the natural bark you are using, I wouldn't be surprised if you get several good pants. Don't set your hopes too high though.
