Default Dendrobium "Cuttings"

Hi

A friend from work gave me these hard canes from her favourite dendrobium. Have read that they should be old leafless ones to propagte from. However these are pretty young healthy ones (although have flowered before) which she says have easily taken off before.

What's the best way to get these going?

Any assistance appreciated.

Regards

John

Well if your epecting to get keki's you want older canes and I just lay them down and let em sprout....Those look as if they have a few roots so they are more of a division and should be supported somehow with a stake ect. and the base touching the medium.

Hi John

Thanks for that.

I'll try that and see what happens.

Cheers

I'd mix up some superthrive or KLN into the water along with your fert. to jump start them.
