Ha ha, ya big fat pollen mooch! Your road sounds very similar to mine, and I think I was in that quote somewhere. Here's to the international pollen/seed trafficking, and orchid trading......I'll send ya some more soon! Good luck with the hybrids! Any signs of germination?

Hey Royal,
Way to go...thanks for sharing your story with us, and for making me a small part of it behind the scenes...the tampensis are doing great by the way!

You sure have done better at flasking than I have...perhaps someday way down the road...when I'm through with my current endeavors...I'll get back to it. In the mean time, I'll enjoy your success along with you.

Jasen, No germination yet, but it's only been about four weeks. I have a few others in the works too. Our road might be the same, but you're leading the way and I'm bringing up the rear. Thanks again for helping me along my way.

David, It looks like that cross that you helped me with might take. I'm not in the clear yet, the pod parent has aborted a few good looking pods. I hope these hang on. You rock for making this one happen. My fingers are crossed.

Pat, watch out - you're next.

Hi Royal so nice to read ur story.
Guess I am where u were two years ago, I am toying with the idea of culturing them and looking for a way to do it.I am from India and I have a few Vanda seeds and I have another Vanda with few seed pods on it.
All my best wishes are with you and may God bless u and ur chids in the flask.

I've got protocorms!!! Well, really just one but I'm still pretty excited. The first of one of my crosses to germinate.

I still need to tweak some things in my process to get better germination but you have to start somewhere.

Yiiipppeeeee!

It's a hybrid - an Lc. It's not registered so I'll just leave it at that for now.

That is an awesome accomplishment Royal.

I just made 3 crosses this morning. I am keeping my fingers crossed and holding my breath

If I get seed pods I hope to flask them. I am addicted and proud of it.

Bingo
