If you have, or can get, some Physan 20, spray the towels and plant heavily with this to get rid of the mold. I suspect the plant isn't getting the air (especially the roots) that it needs. Try opening the bag for 10-15 minutes each day (preferably in late afternoon) then reseal. Or try a "sort of seal" with a small air passage left. The whole idea here is to slow the transpiration and minimize wilting - not to create a super saturated environment where mold grows. Another shot of KLN might help, but shouldn't be necessary, in my opinion.
