Default 2nd attempt at flasking!!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to show off my jars... this is my 2nd try as my first try was with bum seeds. I think, however, that when they get bigger, I'm going to overtaken by baby orchids. lol. Took my 2 days to flask all those! Thanks to Phalguy for the step by step post on flasking! Its been about a week now, and the seeds are looking slightly bigger but not quite protocorms...

Do you think my flasks are too close to the light?

I don't think they are too close to the lights as long as the temperature of the flasks does not get up over 80 degrees. Looks like metal lids which will lower light levels in the flasks. About 6-8 inches below the flourescent tubes T12s or T8s is about right. If the temp gets high you may lose protocorms to brown out. The area below the ballast may be hotter than the rest.

I'm with John. Opaque lids make it all indirect light anyway so closer is better as long as temps are fine.

Nice set-up! Very organized (much more so than me )
