how long from seed or seedling to bloom

Hi firends,
i really don't know if this question has already been done, but anyone had an idea of how long we shoud wait before to see a seedling to bloom?
I know that time is so various depending from species to species and genus to genus, but generally.....?

That is a very big question that can honestly be answered only by Genus. A general answer could be from Flask to bloom, 2 to 10 years.
