I totally agree with David and Nancy - Excellent growing! It looks so happy, I'd be inclined to believe that you could provide the consistent optimal conditions to germinate those little suckers. I think that's probably most growers' limiting factor, not the lack of mycorrhiza. Just a guess though.
I don't have a lab, but I am anal/crazy I guess because I dabble in propagation (I'm a total hack amateur). If you ask any "flasker" they'll tell you those seeds are just waiting to adhere to something - anything! It's like a static cling type of attraction. They will stick to fire polished borosilicate glass test tubes even with a wetting agent in there! They will surely stick to a moistened mount, especially if it's a rough surface.
I got it from Andy's Orchids two years ago. It was much smaller. I am very happy with it too.
I think for now, what I will do is let the pod burst, hopefully it will do it some time when the fan is on and the seeds will get scattered better.
