Question Is this a keiki?

I used some keiki paste on several orchids for the first time. I applied the paste to nodes lower down on stalks but I got mostly new stalks which are now budding. On one orchid I did get what I think is a keiki but I am not sure. If it is one, what do I do from this point on.
Thank you in advance.
Elbie

A photo would help, but if the growth is leaves on the flower spike, it could be a keiki - might bot be, but could.

Sometimes such hormonal treatments initiate leaves in the spike, but if they never grow roots, they cannot be separated.

That is a keiki, a new plantlet. It's a year or two away from separating, if you choose to do so. I would leave it so your plant will eventually have two crowns and twice the number of flowers.

I’d leave it alone and see what happens. How often do you get a double headed phal.?! Future blooms should be spectacular.
