Help: Ludisia Discolor - Seed Pod maturity
Default Help: Ludisia Discolor - Seed Pod maturity

Hey,
i´m very new to the world of plants and orchids. Got my first one a year ago and now i have 40.... well

anyways, i wanted to try to make lil orchid babys.

My first try is a Ludisia Discolor wich i self polinated (10.01.2025).

It looks like the seed pod has more significant lines where it will break and the seeds in side seem brown.

I want to try the Green Pod Method.

Do you think its mature already? :3

Picture of my seed pod for reference.

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

I don't know the answer. You might find the answer searching online, though it will probably be buried many pages deep. You could also ask nurseries in Europe that sell a lot of jewel orchids.

Why don't you tell us a little about yourself, your plants and how you grow them? From the left yellow menu choose Forums then, near the top, Introductions - Break the Ice.
