During transport this tip broke off. Any ideas? I know some species is as easy as keeping them most. I didn't do any rooting powder i think I'm going to rub the broken end with aloe. Not sure if I should put it in dirt being a terrestrial orchid. Thanks!
Thanks for the reply im currently looking up Clowesia warczewitzii*I will search Reed stem epidenrum next. It was from the plant in the clear cup. It only has a date label

If it is the Reed stem what is the best method to try to root. It already seems to be yellowing
Reed-stem Epidendrums may sometimes survive being broken off and root again, but only if it is an older stem that is fully matured and hard. Tips like that won't make it.

Thank you. I've never really germinated anything in a plastic bag or propagated. I started out just sticking it back in the cup it came in. I can't really put it three nodes deep. Just wasn't sure if water or soil would be best to get it to root. If I can get them to flower I'm really going to try to propagate them correctly. Thanks again for all the help!
