Aliceara ‘Sweet Spots’ Propagation

I have a Aliceara Snowblind 'Sweet Spots'
(Oncidium Black Diamond x Aliceara Tropic Splendor) orchid that seems to be pretty content where I put it (bright filtered AM sun for 4 hours). One of the flower spikes doesn’t have blooms but is still not dried out, the other is loaded with flowers. I’m new to the board (can’t figure out where my intro post went), owner of 7 orchids but this is the only Oncidium hybrid I have. The dizzying amount of info and some conflicting at that, leaves me wondering if A- I should cut off the flower spike and B- can I propagate it like a Phalaenopsis post-bloom spike? Any words of wisdom and/or link I can read for guidance?

The spike with no buds or flowers may be a new one - spikes on the Oncidium group can take months to mature. If it has signs of having bloomed in the past then it won't bloom again. I usually leave anything that's green - the plant can slowly re-absorb the tissue of the old spike, so it benefits the plant to leave it.

For Phals, if they produce keikis on the old flower spike, with good roots, they can be separated and grown as independent plants. Ondiciums don't usually produce keikis. Orchids don't lend themselves to propagation from "parts". No roots, no plant.
