Phal. Mariae- How long to harden off out of flask.
Question Phal. Mariae- How long to harden off out of flask.

As of today I have them up to about 10 hours with no humidity dome per day. I deflasked about a week and a half ago.

So far so good everyone looks fine but would just love some guidance on how long it should take to get them fully out of the humidity cover.

I’m thinking 4 weeks to be careful. Am I being overly cautious or under cautious?

Also do I increase light intensity after they are adjusted to the lowered humidity or is it more about maturity and I should wait on that till they are more mature?

Thanks for any insight!

howdy! Im no seedling expert, but usually when we deflask we try to keep them in a tent or bag or something for about that month maybe a little more. i just sort of look at them and if there is any sign of rot or leaf withering then we take the bag off. you are probably doing good by starting with some time each day.

if they are potted separately, then try moving some into more light right away. if they are in compots, then yeah, dunno. we like to push our plants into the highest light possible as soon as possible, then slowly back off if there are any problems developing. seedlings can be surprisingly tough! good luck!

Thank you so much!

I really appreciate that. They are all individually potted and on a hunch I had moved about 5 into their own personal domes, the other 25 in a big community one.

I will start playing with the individual ones light wise to see what they are ok with. Thanks so much!!
