Crosses made, just for the 'name of them'
A long time ago I posted about orchids purchased based on the name only. One of my such purchases was Pot. Psycho Bride (now Rhyncattleanthe Psycho Bride).
Today is Leap Day. In Denmark there is an old tradition, that Ladies can propose to Gentlemen on Leap Day. If the proposal is declined, the Gentleman owes the Lady either 6 pairs of gloves, or 12 pairs of stockings (shows you how old the tradition is).
It came to mind as I was in the greenhouse today. Since I had two 'appropriately' named hybrids in bloom, and I was busy with toothpicks anyway, I could not resist pollinating Rth. Pure Love with Rth. Psycho Bride.
If the pod takes, I will have to come up with some appropriate name (that won't be banned by the administrators).

I thought about that, but one cross has "bride" (unless bride is neutral gender? I dunno, never been married).
How about "Homecoming Queen" ? Check out the lyrics to "love me dead" by Ludo, if you missed that one-hit ~10 years ago or so. I know that's not how people name crosses, just having fun

If I named it for Wife.1, I think Wife.2 would object - perhaps violently.
