I am not sure that this information had been shared before...

You can find a very successful and tested homemade orchid germination medium in my youtube channel

Channel Name is "Hobibotanik"

I wanted to share it's URL from my youtube channel but I think the administrator doesn't want my URL shares

I assume that they already know all things and no need to new informations.

Neat. Yeah, there are lots of limitations on the forum, but I thought I had seen YouTube links here before. Are you saying they won't let you link to your channel? Is it an informational channel or is it a marketing channel? I think they only let one or two specific marketers onto the forum.

Either way you can still post and discuss whatever new information you want to share! It could make for an interesting topic!

My Youtube channel is a hobby channel about Plant Tissue Culture and Orchid Cultuvation not for make money from youtube.

I can respect to rules of forum but I am sure that I saw many URL included posts. I am started to think that this restrictions just for new child in town :_)

I'm a moderator, and you are incorrect. Marketing a product goes in the Classifieds section, unless you've been a member for a more prolonged time and seek permission from the admin or moderators to mention a product or website. Information type urls are fine. Perhaps you just didn't understand how to correctly link it.

Welcome to Orchid Board. And I suggest you don't make unwarranted claims about the moderators or admin here. It's not nice, and not necessary. We're all just folks who have a passion for orchids, trying to help others and help ourselves. Namaste.

Orchid cultivation is my hobby but computer technology is my profession. so be sure that I know how to link in a forum thread. Also I had submitted an url in my first thread but couldn't post again in next threads.

Maybe the manager thought that I was trying to advertise because my first message contained a yotube link. However, I was just trying to share good information.

He/She had already stated that he is reluctant to click on posts that contain such youtube link at reply to my post. So he had no idea about the content. Then I started to no longer send URLs. What would you think if you were in my place?

Because of the need to answer you, I would like to state them, or I have no idea to extend this issue anyway. Let say a communication accident and let's forget it.

Let's check can we submit link anymore ?
