Cattleya tenuis
This Cattleya was known for long as 'Cattleya bicolor from Pernambuco' (Brazil). It really is very similar, vegetative parts and flowers, but it could not be C. bicolor because of the presence of side lobes in the lip (non-existent in C. bicolor). Marcos Campacci, a friend and botanist, realizing the misconception described it as a new species in 1983. The regular flowers of the species are brownish or red-tan with purple lips, often bordered in white. Although green flowers in this species are not rare, the particular hue of this one is very distinctive.
