How do I encourage Bulbophyllum to grow roots?

Hi, I think my orchid Bulbophyllum Macranthum root system is shot, I haven't seen any growing activity coming from this orchid, I think the root system is stuffed, how do you encourage roots on this particular bulbophyllum to grow? root hormone gel? or? moss? or? or?

Thank you for reading, p.s I think i should had watered it more and gave it more humidity, I will learn the hard way, otherwise the plant looks healthy with dark leaves, the orchid is facing east to south east, partial sun, be gentle with me, thanks.

High humidity, warmth and plenty of water. The roots might still be alive, so don't cut them off. It should grow eventually.

I've had good experience encouraging root growth (in general - not just specific to bulbos) - by increasing air circulation. A small breeze makes it want to hang on and not blow away.

This particular species is best grown mounted. The roots on these are really short compared to some other Bulbophyllum. Growing them mounted will give you that air circulation and the frequent watering with moderate to high humidity and warmth will do the trick. Make sure you give this species moderately bright indirect light too.
