Angraecum didierii: Spike or Root?
1 Attachment(s)
Yes, here we go again:
I was just mentioning to Ross, that I goofed up the tags while watering. . .so I THINK this is my Angraecum diderii. There is a chance (50/50) that it's my Aerangis articulata though, I must tell you. Please advise. . .Spike or Root? |
Hey! And guess what. . .I am starting to see a little green tinge to the moss. I think the moss spores are waking up!
OOOOOooooh, I would love to be able to grow moss on my mounts! |
That could be didierii, but I can't tell from the leaves except I can tell you for certain, it is an Angraecoid. As for the moss, you have a couple scenarios that may play through. If the plant is in rteally high humidity, it could be Java moss, which I seem to have a lot of. Otherwise, I would predict "green moss" which could be just about any green moss you'd find on the forest floor.

Whatever the moss is, it came on/in the sphagnum. I am hoping for java moss but would be happy with anything. So what do you think spike or root? |
I know what it is ... ;)

And I guess you're not going to tell. . .damn, I wish I had the top five finalists to bribe you with.
