Pretty. I'm waiting for mine to bloom this year.

It's been a fairly regular and trouble-free bloomer, sometimes twice a year, but for some reason it hasn't bloomed in almost a year now.

[Moments later] I spoke too soon. I just looked at my V. vietnamica and it appears there's a spike that just started and which either wasn't there when I checked last on Wednesday or was too small for me to notice. Now the challenge will be to keep the critters from chewing it up before it blooms.

This made me to order one of this species myself. That contrast of green and white... irresistible.
