What might this be?

Something in the Oncidium group. It might not be in that genus. Sorry I can't be more specific.

Oncidium group but I think a related genus, plant and flower habit don't quite look like Oncidium.

Sigmatostalix sp. Can't tell what species it is. Can't see the lip clearly. I'm guessing it might be Sigmatostalix picta. It is a miniature Oncidium relative.

Plant looks awfully big for a Sigmatostalix (which is a micro-mini) . It looks like the spike is close to 2 ft. tall (60 cm or so) based on the tree behind it - with flowers widely spaced. Could be a Cyrtochilum but there are a bunch of less-common Oncidium-tribe genera with which I'm not so familiar, so would not want to call it.

I'm not so sure it is a Cyrthochilum. The floral shape is very reminiscent of Sigmatostalix. The problem is that the dimensions of the plant is not shown and there is nothing to scale it to in this photo. This is a close-up shot after all. I don't think the spike is 2 ft tall. It looks kinda smallish like just under 1 ft. I don't really consider Sigmatostalix micro miniature orchids. They are definitely miniatures. Each pseudobulb is something on the order of 2 - 3 inches tall (about 5 cm - 7.54 cm tall).

If it was a small flowered Cyrtochilum, the flowers would look like a person dancing with arms and legs outstretched. The petals and sepals would not be reflexed like they are for this plant.

Quite right, the spike was about 18 cm tall.

If that's the case, then it is likely Sigmatostalix picta. Although I'm not 100% sure, I'd say I'm about 90% - 95 % certain it is Sigmatostalix picta. The way the petals and sepals are reflexed. The elongated column. The color pattern points in the direction of this species. If the picture showed the lip clearer, it'd be easier to determine if it truly is Sigmatostalix picta or a species that is very similar to it.
