what do spots on the petals mean?
 

my orchids are all phals, at the moment, and are all blooming and doing well. but some of them s have a spot here or there on the petals, i have seen it before but i dont remember what causes it. the spots are small and very light brown/greenish color.

what do you think?

If they are small, black dots, it's likely Botrytis cinerea - a fungus. It thrives in moist environments with little air flow.

There is nothing you can do to remove it from current blossoms, but more air movement discourages it.
