Anyone a fan of these little gems? I am almost as much as or***ds. I wish I had more

That 1st pic is a big well developed Schlumbergera.
You've had it quite a while haven't you? Had gotten into Schlumbergeras and Epiphyllums back in AK. The Schlumbergias were not a problem. The Epiphyllums were just too big and unruly. I had to get rid of them. |
Yes, I love my succulents and have a few of them. Your Schlumbergera is stunning! Any idea of its age? It's clearly very healthy and happy. My larger one (not nearly that large) has been in constant bloom for several months now.

I’m assuming when you say schlumbergias you mean also Christmas cactus? I only know it as a Xmas cactus. Unfortunately the huge schlumbergias is my ex mother in law. That plant has been with her for as long as I can remember. I married her son in 1980 that the truth. Every time I see it I’m in awe of it. I have propagated several times. My newest baby bloomed one bloom around Easter. My baby one definitely came from a proven winner. Thanks for asking.....B. A pic of mine I don’t know why I posted the other Xmas cactus |
I, too, like cacti and other succulents.

Thank you Cheri nice communicating with some one who loves the Christmas cacti like I do.

I collected cacti during my childhood and had a really nice collection but when one of my own children got into them TWICE and I had to spend a few hours both times pulling out spines, I had to give them away. :( Currently, I do have three cacti, a string of pearls (it lives in my Neem tree pot), an aloe, and an unknown, very tiny succulent.

I have a few (8 to be exact, although one is out of it's pot just sitting in the backyard in a pile, but still going strong!)
List: 1. Haworthia limifolia 2. Haworthia cymbiformis 3. Gasteria glomerata 4. Echeveria topsy turvy 5. Some mammilaria 6. Some kind of Kalanchoe 7. No ID succulent 8. Sansevieria with spike-shaped leaves in a fan (This is the one sitting in a pile) I'll snap pics tomorrow. |
