Hello,

I’m new to growing Angraecum’s so does anyone else know if these little nubs are spikes or new growths on my Angraecum Didieri?
May be to early ttell but I thought I would ask!

I don't know, but few plants that size of any kind would ever push that many new growths. I'm betting flowers.

I find with this species that the nubs appear and then will differentiate either into new growths or blooms dependent on environmental factors e.g. temperature/water/possibly fertilizer. I have yet to identify what the trigger is, exactly. I agree that's a blooming sized plant - good luck!

Noticed one of the nubs at the bottom has a root frowning out of it this A.M.!
Also the nub at the top seems to be growing faster compared to the others!

Well, I beat you, mine opened two days ago. But, my plant is small with only one bloom :(

My florulentum looks the same with these nubbins. I'm not experienced enuf to quite know what I'm looking at,so guess either roots or buds. How do you grow yours,esp. lighting conditions? TY
