Keiki on pseudobulb?

I was poking around my orchids when I spotted this odd growth from my Den. pachyphyllum. It's a plant that's sprouted from the end of a pseudobulb! I'm not sure if this counts as a keiki or how I should go separating it...

It looks like a keiki, but I would suggest just leaving it. These keikis still gain strength from the mother plant (it would be very weak and probably not survive until it gets a lot bigger with more roots if you were to separate it) When these are on the plant they can still bloom. And I think flowers are the goal...

This is common in some Dendrobiums such as Dendrobium kingianum, for example. I'd leave them alone. When the keikis are independent of the mother plant, they will automatically release themselves and be easy to remove.

Thanks for the replies.
So I guess I will wait until the keiki gets big enough and then take it off and mount it on a stick.
