Algae Removal Before Repotting

Hi. I have all my semi-hydroponics in Net pots and I want to increase humidity a little bit, so I am repot to another pot that is in between a net pot and a regular pot. A lot of my Orchid have algae buildup on the Leca.. so, I am wondering what is the best way to completely remove algae before potting in the new pots.. the new pots will get in more humidity and heat, and I really don't want the algae to go crazy inside the pots and be super hard to remove. Ideas?

Not to be strange, but I have a 75 gallon aquarium with a lot of hungry nerite snails (they do not breed outside of brackish water). I would give them to the snails to chow down on. You may not have this option, however, you might look at the fish-aquarium stores and see if they have any algae killer.

The algae is not harmful to the orchids. Algae treatments are harmful to orchids. Just ignore the algae.
