Thrips or Springtails?

I grow plants indoors and I think some of my recent acquisitions might have brought some unwelcome guests. Do I have thrips, springtails, or both?

Hard to tell by just the picture, but I would lean toward springtails. If they are mostly in the bark and jump they are springtails. If you see them on the leaves or flowers and there is damage, then they are thrips—which really isn’t good at all. I know thrips rather well from having done research on them, and the second photo does not look like thrips. My guess is also springtails.

Based on photo 2, they're springtails.
