Leaves wrinkling
 

I'm back...... again I keep seem to encounter problems lol.
So both of the leaves on my Orchids ar becoming wrinkly and loosing stiffness I will attach pictures. They both had root rot from the original medium. I transferred them they are still in the same spots with the humidifier. And I'm still trying to figure when to water them especially after the root rot incident, I will most likely use the bamboo skewer trick.

Do you use transparent pots?

What was the original medium? And did you repot in bark? By using transparent pots you can keep an eye on the roots. When they are green they do not need water, when they are silvery, then water.

But... Since you came from a root rot situation, were there any viable roots left?

Both of my Orchids had rot this one came in something like stale chocolate cake and was compacted the other one was also compacted and came in spagnum moss. And both ar currently in bark. Also I added pictures of the roots for your opinion on what I should do and will the leaves be limp and wrinkled forever .

I often have been given houseplants to rescue, including a few Phals. Someone asked me to rescue their Phal that was dehydrated Phal (wrinkled leaves) and, after a 36 hour soak, the leaves had become plump and it was able to be potted and returned. It was doing quite well the last time I talked to the neighbor. You might want to give that a try. Leaves wrinkle because there is a net loss of water between what the roots can absorb for the plant and what the leaves lose to the air.

That is very chunky bark you've got them potted in. I don't think you need to worry about root rot by keeping the bark too wet. You'll have plenty of air at the roots in that mix. Did you pre-moisten the bark before potting? If not, it will take a while for the mix to retain much moisture after watering.

The roots are OK, so you are underwatering. Those above made good points. In fresh bark of that size you could likely water every day. Many people would soak the pot of a plant that dehydrated in a container of water for an hour or two to water.

Yes, those roots need water. When you see them silver and wrinkled, then it's time to water.
