Looking for an online vendor for a lycaste aromatica

I was going to purchase a lycaste aromatica from Olympic Gardens today for meeting a goal and I was happy with my last purchase from them.
They just sold out though! :(
Seattle Orchids is as well.

Has anyone seen one for sale in the US from a vendor you trust? I'm looking for a nice orange one (I've seen some yellowish ones?)

Check with Andy's Orchids I didn't see it on the website, but inquire by email - the website has only a small fraction of what he hs. If that one is out of stock, he can suggest one of the closely related species (there are several)

To me the real beauty of Lyc. aromatia is not the color but the fragrance. Years ago I had one that had a wonderful "cinnamon" fragrance. Years later I purchased another (not in flower) that has very little fragrance. I'm not even sure the new one is aromatica, it looks more like Lyc. cruenta to me. So if you can purchase it in flower....

A few years ago, I thought about getting one but they seem to be quite rarely sold. Perhaps try emailing Ecuagenera and see if they have any or know of a supplier. They often bring orchids to their shows that are not on their website.

The scent is definitely what I'm looking for primarily, I dont know much about the variations of this orchid and I wonder if the orange one smells the same.
There is an orchid show coming up near me and I'm tempted to wait and see if anyone there has it.

It's funny. I was looking at quite a few websites for orchids the last couple of months, but purchased other plants on my list instead. There were...3 or 4? Websites offering one. Now I'm "Where on earth were those listed?!" I cant find any.

Ill look at Ecuagenera and see what happens!

I've seen his name repeated quite a bit from happy customers here and there. Seems to have an impressive collection. Ill see what he has, if any.
Thank you!
