This guy seems to bloom twice a year and blooms last for a few months. :biggrin: Of course, as you can see in the pics, the bugs seem to enjoy these blooms as well, so normally I would have let these flowers open up a bit more before taking :photo: but then there might not be much flower left to photograph!! :yikes: :violin: Anywho, I really enjoy these guys because the purple on the pure white background is pretty dramatic, in a subtle way. Enjoy!

Hi Steve, I've just ordered (among other orchids) this Dendrobium. How do you grow it? I've read like a phalaenopsis nbut warmen conditions and very very slight rest period, almost nothing.

I believe I used to grow this one warm (I lived in Hawaii at the time!) and relatively bright. I think you're right that it needs little to no winter rest, but that it should dry between waterings.
