My First Colmanara (Oncidium) wildcat orchid

I'm a total newbie to the hobby, and am wondering the care to give this? I don't want to butcher it! Also, is the genus Colmanara or Oncidium, I hear both?
Thanks in advance!!

Hi there, McBalogh. This partticular orchid is very easy to grow, at least for me. Keep it fairly moist, don't let it dry out too much between waterings, and give it all the light you can, without burning. As for the name, it is an intergeneric cross between several species within the Oncidium alliance, I'm not sure right now what they all are. Colmanara is a name given to this particular combination. Hope this helps.

Colmanara, abbreviated Colm, is an intergeneric hybrid between the orchid genera Miltonia, Odontoglossum and Oncidium (Milt x Odm x Onc).

Except that in this case, the particular miltonia species (Miltonia warscewicsii) was reclassified as Oncidium fuscatum, so now it's considered to be an odontocidium.
