Is a vivarium needed?

I'm planning to order a few miniature orchids from Andy's Orchids. When the description says "Vivarium", does that mean it's a good choice for a vivarium, or that it's not likely to survive in a home environment outside of a vivarium?

Thank you.

I suggest that the question be addressed to Andy... Those plants identified as "vivarium" are little, so that they'll fit in in one. Most probably need a lot of humidity. Beyond that, I would guess that the answer depends on the plant, and your general conditions. If you have a greenhouse with good humidity, I suspect it would not be necessary. But if you don't have the environment that a particular plant needs, a vivarium/terrarium is a way to create the necessary conditions on a micro scale. (Andy is growing them in greenhouses that are larger than many homes... but with temperature and humidity controlled to desired ideal level)
