dendrobium fire wing?

I have just recently branched into dendrobiums in my orchid collection and I came across a dendrobium fire wing on a website for an orchid nursery I'm going to be visiting! I would really love to own this plant but I'm having trouble finding culture sheets for it so that I know if it could thrive in my environment! Anybody got any care tips?

That looks lovely! So - it seems this hybrid is 75% Latouria type Den, and 25% Phalaenanthe type. It mostly resembles the Latouria types, so you might go with that kind of care : media should remain lightly moist, moderately bright light (but can burn in hot, direct light), intermediate to warm temperatures. I have also grown a few Phalaenanthe types in pretty much the same conditions as well, so I think this should work.

Pretty much what Sonya said above. I do let mine dry out a little before watering, I have it potted in a mixture of LECA and lava rock, so it does get watered frequently especially in the summertime. They like water, but don’t like to be wet for any extended amount of time. I have found this one and my other 6 Latauria type hybrids to be very hardy, very adaptable, easy going orchids. It’s a good one to have and should be happy in your care:)

What other types of orchids do you grow?

I grow a lot of these, they are very easy and take no special care. Laturia Dens can drop buds in temps under 45 degrees.

All my greenhouse are not heated and temps go into the low 30s. Still even with a cold front 70-80% of my plants retain the buds

I should mention that I have been growing Dens in hanging baskets and especially with species I find the growth rate is greatly accelerated in baskets with heavy water and fertilizer.
