Phal. bellina, first time blooming.
 

I think it is little bit too late, but my bellina flowered for the first time. I don't know why I did this ;), but I took some daily snapshots of the opening flower.

Flower elongates vertically a bit. The shape is now more like a isosceles triangle.

The fragrance is almost like a freshly brewed, delicious cup of Earl Grey tea. Quite strong, too.

Beautiful flower! I love taking pictures of blooms as they develop, it is exciting every time. The first flower though is worthy of a celebration!

That's beautiful, mine has just finished - I usually only get one bloom per spike, which is a shame as I really like them.
