Parentage is LC. Princess Margaret X C. dowiana. Yes, this plant has inherited much of the spicy/rich fragrance of C. dowiana, and it has a lot of dowiana's lip charisma too, as you can see. Its a gorgeous semi-alba!

Such adorable blooms! It has the classic color, texture and form. I love the ruffled petals.

That is STUNNING! Where are the oldies-but-goodies like this on the retailer's clone sales lists?

There is one of the best clones available right now on fleabay, did you know? Rare Orchids - Lc Powhatan 'Arthur Edward' IN BLOOM | eBay

Chadwicks own web site also lists a division of the very same clone I have - #148: Cattleya Hybrids

Well, Chadwicks offer several clones of LC. Powhatan on their own web site, did you not know?
Cattleya Hybrids

I saw the one on Chadwick's site (not in a position atm to get a $100 plant, maybe if it sticks around) but the question was more rhetorical. There are LOTS of wonderful older crosses that would probably do well on the marketplace today (thinking things like Keowee, my Languedoc is always a hit when people see it) but that can pretty much only be found as divisions or clearouts from older collections.
