Has anyone seen a Grcym. (Grammatocymbidium) Pakkret Nova?

Title. Has anyone seen this in person or for sale anywhere? I love Grammatocymbidiums, and frankly I'm shocked that this particular cross isn't invading supermarkets everywhere. Very dark flowers, warm tolerance and, I presume, fragrance because of its ancestry - Cym. canaliculatum x (Gram. scriptum x Gram. speciosum).

Very cool. I'm guessing if they are anything like my Grcym Mem. Nathan Newman, they aren't carried because of their size. I've been told that I have the equivalent of a St Bernard puppy. Adorable at the size it currently is, but it can get huge. My only hope that it doesn't push me out of my apt is that my growing skills are laking and I stunt it's growth.

If they come into flower relatively small, I predict we will see them everywhere before many years have passed.

It is mostly a size related issue that these may not be wildly popular. Although, I agree that it may become a little more mainstream with time if they bloom at a small size.
There is also no need for this hybrid really. It is somewhat of a novelty. A lot of Cymbidium species and hybrids grow just fine in places throughout much of the US where it doesn't snow. For example, here in Southern California in places that do not snow, they grow really well. |
