Bulbophyllum Grandiflorum question!
2 Attachment(s)
Does anyone know if this is a flower spike or not on my Grandiflorum? I've had some of my bulbos for a few years and have never managed to bloom any 🙄
To me it looks to thin to be a rhizome but what do y'all think? Attachment 126768 Attachment 126769 |
Great looking plant! I have not gotten my grandiflorum to bloom yet, it's still in recovery mode from a little snail attack, but that certainly doesn't look like any of the new pseudobulb mine has grown. Fingers crossed!

Thanks I appreciate it, for a while there I wasn't thinking anyone was going to reply!

UPDATE!!
The two new growths are looking nice and healthy, an the bud looks like it may bloom soon! I'm just a little nervous because I'm going away on vacation for ten days and I don't want to miss the show 😭😭 Attachment 127142 Attachment 127144 Attachment 127145 |
Fantastic! You could always have a friend swing by and send you some picture updates? I don't know, I would be completely bummed if I missed this one opening too.. btw, what sort light do you have it growing in?

My security cameras at the house are wireless and run off wifi and I can check them on my phone, so I'm thinking of setting one up in front of the plant on a tripod while I'm gone!
I have it in filter semi bright shade then about a hour and a half of full sun at dusk, that's how I grow all my bulbos 😁 |
a watched plant never blooms.

You could rig a Webcam so we can all watch it.
