Can't connect to Orchid Board on Tapatalk
 

Hi, been having this issue for a week or two now ... when I try to connect on the Android Tapatalk app, it hangs for a few moments on the "connecting to server..." message, and then I get the error message "Network error, please try again later (get_config)".

All my other forums connect fine. It's only Orchid Board that is giving me this error.

Any ideas?

It seems Orchid Board needs an upgraded Tapatalk plugin. I wrote moderator Tindomul a few days ago. He said he would try to contact owner Marty.

I'm back, but I prefer tapatalk when not on my computer. Still not working? (Or is it just me?)

Still not working. Hopeful myself that it gets fixed. Much more enjoyable experience via mobile

I've reported this directly to Tapatalk multiple times.
However it is "Marty" that is accountable but judging from past experience, good luck in getting a response. Maybe the time has come for him to sell. I'm sure there would be no shortage of takers at the right price.

I don't remember how I upload pictures anymore after using tapatalk. I somehow erased that knowledge, and well, used tapatalk.
I know I used a web-service, but I don't remember how.

I would be really happy if anyone know how long it's gonna take. Like- weeks, or maybe months? Both are fine, I assume people are doing the work voluntariy- I just wanted to know. If it's a pretty short amount of time, I don't bother reading up on the picture posting. (This site doesn't go well with my phone, and that is my prefered place, like a mini computer. Tapatalk works like a charm on my phone.)

Orchids without pictures just aren't the same.

I loved using tapatalk also as I only surf web on my phone, but have gotten used to posting pics "the old fashioned way. When posting, click on "Go Advamced", then click on "Manage Attachments", then click on "Choose File".......at this point it should give you the option to use your camera (make sure you hold it horizontal) or existing pics by going through files. Once you take a pic, you have to make sure and click on "Add Attachment" or something similar to that. Once you get the process down, it's not that bad. No where near the convenience and ease of tapatalk while using mobile, but it gets the job done
