Dimorphorchis lowii?
 

Anyone know how to grow this vandaceous genus, or where to find it? I love it. There are two different types of flowers on each spike; the ones near the tip have one pattern, and the ones near the bottom have another. I'm wondering if any vandaceous hybrids have this orchid in their lineage... :biggrin:

Hi Carl,

recently, I had the opportunity of buying one, and I resisted. It seems it wants very hot and very damp conditions with lots of air movement, since it grows at low elevations along rivers, getting about 4 feet tall.

So far, no registered Hybrids are in the RHS data bank.
