One of my favorite from of this species. But it always has only one bloom in each spike.

Very pretty. Some of mine have 2 blossoms some 1 per inflorescence. Do you see a scar where a second might have developed?

It may have the ability to produce the second bloom but in the garden, the plant has nerve done it.
