Brassalova nodosa flower spike or leaves?
 

This is the plant that introduced me to the OB a thousand posts ago. I originally bought it as a start of something and you all helped me ID it.

So, it has been growing happily and now I see these two growths. What do you think they are? It really seems to small to bloom.

They're new growths. Brassavola produce a spike from the base of a mature leaf .

Well, good! They just didn't look smooth and sleek, like the other leaves. Ok. Thanks, guys, I am doing something right.
