I can't take credit for these. I got it with three spikes from H&R last week. In fact, all the plants they sent were in spike. Flower is about the size of a quarter. Sorry about shooting into the light. It is the large plant in front. Supposed to be miniature.

What a little beauty!

That's very nice! The flower is definitely miniature, the plant itself, hmmm....... :scratchhead:

Yep. My thoughts exactly.

I've seen some places advertise plants as miniatures as long as they stay under 12.'' I've taken to looking up everything unless they specifically mention the size. My idea of a miniature and theirs clearly don't add up!

Nice plant though and lovely blooms!

It's a miniature compared to most other Encyclias.

I also got 'profusa.' That is suppose to be large. ES, I thought you ordered the same from H&R?

I keep ending up with all these huge plants!

This is sure a pretty bloom! I don't think I would consider it a miniature, lol but it's a keeper for sure! Great color.

I did. I have this one too, in bloom. It's a little too dark to take a photo now; I need to get some things done tonight; a photo will have to wait.

I agree, I would not call it miniature. Also, be careful... mine got a sunburned pseudobulb quite easily.

Have it in bright indirect light. Profusa under higher light. I guess miniature is a relative term.
