Will the weather outside blast my Cymbidium little spike?

Hi everyone!
My Cymbidium Sarah jean ' ice cascade' just has a spike( about 2 inches). Should I bring it outside or just let it stay inside the house? TIA! Here is the weather forecast. Attachment 125729 |
Can't se the pic...it's too small and I'm getting old.

If it's already in spike, leave it where it is. Generally, Cyms need a night time temperature drop to bloom, but some are more forgiving than others... If that's a spike and not a new growth, it has already received what it needs to bloom. If it's a growth and hasn't bloomed, next year you may want to give it more of a chill in the fall (which is when spike-initiation tends to occur)

I have no idea about the spike... but, I just wanted to say I'm jealous of your beautiful weather!
We're getting snow tomorrow :(( . |
I agree with Roberta, don't make any sudden changes and congratulations on your spike AND your weather.

Thanks everyone for the quick response!
