Yellow is not a go-to color for me in orchids, or in much of anything. I can usually bypass even the cutest yellow orchids, ones which would have had me by the wallet in any other color.

But.

I've had this plant since June of 2015 and am just now seeing its first bloom. And I've gotta say, I'm charmed, smitten, and not holding a grudge about the whole yellow thing. ;)

Lovely, I'm not a fan of yellow flowers either, I would describe it as tangerine. 😃

You are probably right. I tend to group all yellow-like things into one simple category :)

Well a grudge I would hold. Then send said orchid to ME! I like yellow blooms. In marigolds, orchids, roses you name it. It's a cute one.
