Dendrobium Illusion 'Embers'
 

Newest arrival from Mountain Orchids via EBay. I've wanted D. cuthbertsonii since I first found out about it, but the cool growing thing is problematic for me. A primary hybrid between D. cuthbertsonii and D. lawesii, it is supposedly more temperature tolerant than cuthbertsonii. We shall see!

Oh I like that one. Keep us updated. I have killed 3 cuthbertsonii :( And I still want to try it get it right. I saw one grower used smaller bonsii type pellet material, so I may try that.

I'm going to transition this to s/h tomorrow. That should help with cooling.

Oh, danger. Just went to Mountain Orchids... I see trouble ahead :)

It's in a clay pot, that is cooling.

He thinks most people's problems are due to drying out and not-pure-enough water.
