My pride and joy Lycaste but noid :(
Got this last year at the Santa Barbara show.
Noid but boy does it flower. 10 flowers and not counting the two already faded. Very long lasting blooms to boot. Grown outdoors year round in bright shade. 50F/10c minimum temp http://i1260.photobucket.com/albums/...psqzrblerk.jpg http://i1260.photobucket.com/albums/...ps8otjh67c.jpg http://i1260.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2c3dhjf0.jpg http://i1260.photobucket.com/albums/...psjqer5nit.jpg http://i1260.photobucket.com/albums/...pssvnfznjj.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
It's lovely! Doesn't it drop any leaves in winter?

Your sunroom is very pretty too.

Exceptional! I'd be thrilled with this show. Good 4 U.

What a beautiful flower!
I'm curious at how you sort of dismiss the plant as a NoID. There is utterly nothing wrong, or inferior, about a NoID - the only thing that differs it from the plant next to it is a name. NoIDs are often dismissed, and we so often get posts requesting identification of plants, that it could make one question the value of plants with no identity. NoIDs bloom flowers just as nicely as named plants and often cost considerably less! |
