Inside is Out and the Outside is In...
 
Speaking of my fresh repotting of Phalaenopsis (shiny upper leaves are curling backward) + my one (1st) and only Devalia plant (Cheryl Shohan "Babe") where the leaves are curving around inward...normal? :scratchhead:

As Carol suggested, a picture would help a lot. There are some types of Phals, bellina comes to mind, which can have sort of wavy, curly, irregular leaves, so it's possible that what you're seeing isn't a major issue.
