HELP ME TO IDENTIFY THIS BRASSAVOLA
3 Attachment(s)
I have this brassavola and its blooming now. I got this with no tags. Its looks like a species not a hybrid. Please help me to identify this.leaves are more than 12 inch long. Please rotate the photo 90°right for correct orientation.

From what I can see in these photos, I think Brassavola tuberculata may be the most likely species. Other pendant or semi-pendant species with similar flowers tend to be longer leaved and even less rigid in habit, and the way the flowers are clustered seems typical.

Where'd you buy it from?

It could be a hybrid...Little Stars.
There are numerous accounts of mis-ID'd plants in this group so it's possible that you will never know for certain what you have there. FWIW - my tuberculata leaves are far more arching rather than upright. |
From my part, I think that it is Brassavila venosa, which I say several plants in Boca de Torros (Panama)

I've identified some by the the side view of the column. A good comparison is in part V from Withners series.
