NOID Spatulata
I was bad... was in a distant Lowes on other business and there was this great glorious spatulata sitting there all ignored. I have a huge weakness for antelope dens, so even my husband insisted it had to come home with us. That newest pbulb is an honest 3' from rhizome to tip, good thing I have room for the monsters. (some spatulatas can get 3 meters plus).
Sun Bulb supplied it according to the tag, so maybe I'll try contacting them to see if they can ID it. They're good about trying to help, but I have doubts about the dens being ID'ed- I think they may buy Thai joblots of them. That said, more than a few of the dens I see with their tags DO have ID. And I haven't unpotted it yet and looked deep in the pot. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...psymsb2fak.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...psefepydxg.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...ps2nnn0sah.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...psppolkpgm.jpg |

And Monday morning I'm taking my sister to Paradise Orchids for her birthday- her request actually, but I'm not complaining ;):llama: |
That is gorgeous. You weren't bad. The beauty of the orchid truly gave you no choice but to bring it home and admire it thoroughly.
So I say, "Job well done!" |
